Wendy Williams, a Radio Personality, TV host, and native of Asbury Park, NJ is being held against her will. The world needs to unify against this horrible crime and the family needs to hire a Civil Rights attorney to fight this guardianship and free her from her current prison cell in which her civil and healthcare rights are being violated.  As a nurse of more than 32 years, I am not sure why she was diagnosed with Aphasia, because it’s obvious from this interview with the Breakfast Club that not only can she talk, but she is answering questions and communicating effectively during the conversation. Patients must be reevaluated periodically to see make sure that the initial diagnosis was correct. In Wendy’s situation and in my experience with healthcare, I believe she was misdiagnosed. Maybe she was dealing with a short term mental health crisis when the doctors gave her that initial diagnosis of “Primary Progressive Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia” as stated in the media.  Clearly, she is not in full stage dementia and clearly, she is not aphasic, so why is she being held hostage against her will by her guardian in the United States Of America in 2025?
